I am not advocating for an underlying conspiracy directing all these events; I do not know and do not have the means to find out. All I am saying is this: our nation’s fall to so many mortal attacks on its character shows me that we have failed. We are not voting our way out of this set of crises, even should President Trump be restored to office. I have already finished mourning the United States of America, and am pouring my remaining hopes for Western civilization into New America.
