My wife and I started watching the X-Files in the first season, and we have the entire collection on DVD. The 10th Season is particularly powerful, as Agent Sully finally becomes a “true believer”. The series is still available on DVD and Blu-ray, and I strongly recommend it. The X-Files … to me … is something of a prophecy of the times we live in.

By the way, I wouldn’t discount Mrs. Surak’s ideas about “conspiracy theorists”. I believe that one reason I personally liked the X-Files so much was that the underlying conspiracy fit so well with my own personal belief-system. It still does!
