Thus far, and no farther

Now the argument is breaking into the open, between patriot friends who are determined to resist our very rapid descent into totalitarianism. There will be no magic human rescue. No Durham, no kraken, no Lindell, no popcorn, no Q.

‘Nothing Can Stop What is Coming.’ What If Nothing is Coming?

The argument finally became angry today at Front Page Magazine between the two patriot factions: civil war and secession. Both sides make good arguments. I will give you my latest map, updated with membership in the mandate resistance.

This quality of life index combines eight ingredients. They are listed below in the order of their influence over the other variables (sum of squared correlations for the geeks).

  • Cook partisan voting index (how much more conservative a state is compared with the country overall);
  • membership in the mandate resistance as of September 14, 2021;
  • fertility rate;
  • arable land per capita;
  • low unemployment rate;
  • low violent crime rate;
  • low homicide rate;
  • net domestic migration rate (people moving in from other states).

The most desirable states form a contiguous cluster of seven: ID, UT, WY, ND, SD, NE, IA. They are followed by KY, MT, KS, OK, TX, IN, WV. Four of these are contiguous to the first seven, with the remaining three contiguous with each other.

I would sit down representatives of these states with representatives of the opposite extreme: NY, CA, MA, and the like. I would say to the leftists: We are going to continue to support freedom to speak and travel, secure borders, color-blindness, and Biblical values; you will continue to oppose them. Moreover, we have tens of millions more firearms than you do, and billions of rounds more ammunition. We would be happier without you, and you would be happier without us. We will continue to sell you food, and you can inject yourselves with booster shots every month. Let’s make a deal.

There are links at the bottom of this blog to various groups interested in secession. I see this as the last stop before a purge like the Rwandan civil war.

  1. “Here is how police treat unconscious, handcuffed people in Australia. Still back the blue?”

    In fact, I do. That’s probably because I live in an area where I know the Sheriff, and know most of the police by name. In my long climb towards my current employment, I’ve worked in Corrections, and then in law enforcement, myself. However, I’ll qualify what I’ve said by stating that I’ve seen an increase in police-involved incidents that are questionable to me.

    But on the whole, I still back the blue.

    1. I very much respect and honor your accomplishments, my friend, and I am grateful for your service in every way.

      When I was younger, I felt that military and LE were special. They deserved automatic respect, because of the risks they took to provide us with the order and peace we need for civilization. Nowadays, in both fields, I see people who will do anything for a paycheck.

      Did you see what was done to Brian Kolfage of We Build the Wall? He gave one arm and two legs in Afghanistan on orders of the CinC. He tried to protect his countrymen by helping build a border wall. His reward was to be dragged by one arm into a van of the US Postal Service Inspection Service, probably dragged along the ground, then driven for about a thousand miles bouncing around inside this van because they wouldn’t give him his wheelchair. Now in prison for months, the prison system refuses to give him his pain medication he needs to control the pain in his phantom limbs. The prescription has been signed by a doctor. The prison staff is just raising the big middle finger and saying we don’t care.

      Kolfage’s story reminds me of the 1/6 prisoner who was blinded in a beating by prison guards. I can keep going on LE who allow patriots to be beaten by leftists, and arrest the patriots when they start defending themselves; Border Patrol who literally open the fences on the southern border on command; military who refuse Americans entrance to Kabul airport on command.

      A few years ago, Hannity assured us that the problems in the FBI were the problems of a few corrupt people; 99% of agents were good people. Now I know better.

      I am emphatically NOT saying that military and LE are not trustworthy. I am saying that I judge them as individuals, not by employment in a once-honorable profession. And still, when I meet veterans, I thank them for their service. I grieve that the country they once served is dead. The enemy within turned out to be more insidious then the enemy without.

    More likely they’ll discover that we in Flyover Country control all the major east-west routes, and that it’s very easy to block a mountain pass or a bridge or an airstrip, leaving the uninitiated no way to reach our territory. Then they’ll discover that we are self-sufficient, and they are not.
